A Hospital Built on Purpose & Partnership
The Pakistan Coast Guard Hospital – Managed by REACH was established seven years ago within the secure premises of the Pakistan Coast Guard Headquarters, Karachi. Its founding purpose was clear: to provide quality, accessible healthcare to the brave personnel of the Pakistan Coast Guard and their families.
Recognizing the need for professional institutional management and expanding medical services, the Pakistan Coast Guard entered into a long-term strategic partnership with REACH — a professional non-governmental organization with proven expertise in healthcare, education, and institutional development.
Under this joint venture arrangement — spanning an initial 30 years, extendable by an additional 20 years — REACH assumed full operational and developmental management of the hospital. Today, the hospital has evolved into a growing multi-specialty healthcare institution, open not only to PCG personnel and their dependents, but also to the general public of Karachi.
With two operational floors currently active, and ongoing construction and expansion underway across additional floors, PCG Hospital is steadily advancing toward its vision of becoming a comprehensive tertiary care and medical education center in Karachi.
